Bukr ( Bukr Tech OPC Pvt Ltd ) is an online platform for new and used books selling service which also allows its Users to return books through its website located at ‘http://www.bukr.in’ at a pre-agreed discounted amount. The users can browse through the list for books they would like to read and purchase it from website. The user can opt from online mode of payment or payment at the time of delivery. The selected book(s) will be delivered to the user at the shipping address provided. In case of returning books, the users can keep the book(s) for period upto 60 days as per the option selected by the user. User can initiate return process via his/her account on the website before completion of the time period of 60 days – following which a courier would come to the user’s shipping address to collect the book(s). Refund of the balance amount after charging the applicable charges will be initiated once the book(s) are returned in a condition acceptable to the Bukr. The right to accept or reject the acceptance of book(s) in the condition is entirely reserved by Bukr ( Bukr Tech OPC Pvt Ltd ) based on their quality standards. Also you will be charged for book(s) that you lose or damage.

Billing

By using the Bukr ( Bukr Tech OPC Pvt Ltd ) purchase and return service you are expressly agreeing that we are permitted to bill you a fixed fee/charge, any applicable taxes and any other charges you may incur in connection with your use of the Bukr ( Bukr Tech OPC Pvt Ltd ) service. Additional charges may include books you fail to return, books you damage or a change in return/buyback structure. The initial Payable will be kept for issue of the book and the return fee will be billed on returning the book in good condition. All fees and charges are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods. We may change the fees and charges in effect, or add new fees and charges from time to time, but will give notice to the users getting affected by the same.

Damaged Books

All book(s) sent to you have been checked to be in good condition prior to dispatch. Upon receipt of book(s), you must ensure that the same is in good condition. Any anomaly, if found, must be reported to our courier executive or to Bukr within 24 hours via website whatsapp chat OR email at [email protected] . Failure to check and/or report the same will be constituted as to having received the book(s) in good condition. At the time of pickup, our courier executive might check for any damage to the book(s) and will intimate you accordingly. Additionally, upon receipt of book(s) we will verify the condition of the book(s) and will intimate the user about the damages.

Delivery

We do not process returns or deliveries on weekends and national holidays. We make no guarantees as to the shipping and deliveries of books and may in our sole and absolute discretion, change our business practices regarding allocation, delivery and shipping, without notice.

Cancellation

The User can cancel an order for issue of books by calling at +91 7045015090 or mailing Bukr ( Bukr Tech OPC Pvt Ltd ) customer service at [email protected] before the book is shipped by Bukr ( Bukr Tech OPC Pvt Ltd ). In any discrepancy, Bukr ( Bukr Tech OPC Pvt Ltd ) reserves complete rights to decide whether to change the order or charge the user as per the return charges structure. We do not provide refunds or credits for any partial term periods and charges are levied as per the return charge structure defined.

Refunds

Upon cancellation of registration, we will refund any dues after ensuring all outstanding charges applicable have been processed and all books you purchased are returned as per return period and in good condition as solely decided by Bukr ( Bukr Tech OPC Pvt Ltd ). The User may give their choice for refund. However Bukr ( Bukr Tech OPC Pvt Ltd ) reserves the right to decide the mode of refund and the User will have to abide by it.
The user will be charged 20% of MRP amount of the book as return fees while initiating a return process. Additionally there will be applicable taxes and delivery charges which are to be borne by the user, which will be deducted from refund amount.
Refund will be processed in user’s company wallet which can be used by user to make future purchases on website www.bukr.in .
User can also opt to transfer this amount to his mode of payment – If paid by credit card, refunds will be issued to the original credit card provided at the time of purchase and in case of payment gateway name payments refund will be made to the same account.

Typographical Errors

In the event the product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, Bukr ( Bukr Tech OPC Pvt Ltd ) shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed on for product listed at the incorrect price.
